On my morning walk with my husband yesterday, I saw this beautiful bush of jasmine. A week ago, there were only a few flowers and now it’s covered with blooms, and they smell so good. I thought to myself, it’s almost the end of summer, shouldn’t it have blossomed earlier? Well, I don’t know the answer, but I know that there is a time for everything in life.
Sometimes we think that we are too old to start something new, a new career, or a new craft. We think that age can hold us back. That can be true when it comes to certain physical activities. It’s hard to imagine a football player being excellent at his game at the age of 45, however, Mr. Tom Brady is here in the NFL showing us that it is possible. For most of us mortals, that is pretty tough to do.
When it comes to learning a new craft or starting a new profession, I believe age is just a number! Our brain cells can take a lot more learning than we can imagine, and at any age, I believe we can reinvent ourselves and start something new.
Do you agree or disagree with my thought? Let’s start a conversation.
